Delete Your Account

You can request the deletion of your Elam account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us at the email below.

How to request deletion

  1. Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line Account Deletion Request.
  2. Include the mobile number registered to your Elam account so we can locate your account.
  3. We will send a verification SMS to that number to confirm the request is from the account holder.
  4. Once verified, we will process the deletion within 30 days and notify you when complete.

What data is deleted and what is retained

Upon a verified deletion request, here is how your data is handled:

Data type Action
Account profile (name, phone, email, password) Deleted within 30 days
Device tokens & session data Deleted within 30 days
App preferences & settings Deleted within 30 days
Transaction & lot records Retained for business & legal compliance

Transaction records are retained because they form part of shared business records between planters and drying centers. Deleting them would affect the records of other parties involved in those transactions.
